Club Awards
Several years ago the
Joe Clews
Award was agreed and
implemented by the Club.This project has been very successful and we have had many worthy young winners.
This award is aimed at the Senior Schools.
To complement it a similar award for the Primary Schools was started In 2008, to recognize the 42 years of service
given to the Club by Stan Dunn
The
Stan Dunn
Award is made to a boy or
girl for service to the community and/or their Primary School. There is a prize of a book for the winner in each of the Wednesbury Primary Schools that take part.

Joe Clews
Joe was inducted into the Rotary Club of Wednesbury
on July 29th. 1964.
A Paul Harris Fellowship was awarded posthumously.
The Club wanted Joe to be
remembered for his work
for Rotary, but especially for his work with young people, and the Joe Clews
Award was instituted and presented
annually to a student in each of the four Senior Schools in Wednesbury for service to the community in which they live, or at the school.
This years Joe Clews awards evening is on 15 March 2018
